Prince Ned Nwoko Set to Donate CCTV Cameras to Police Force Headquarter

Former American President, John F Kennedy once said, “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.”

This has been one of the life philosophies of Prince Ned Nwoko who keeps giving back to the society.

Prince Ned met with the Inspector General of Police, Abubakar Adam, where he made his intention known to support the efforts of Nigerian Police Force in protecting lives and properties by providing CCTV cameras in Abuja. Prince Ned Nwoko was taken on a tour of the control room to have an overview of the effort of the police to respond to distress calls and timely intervention in curbing crimes in FCT. The inspector General of Police commended the philanthropic gesture of Prince Ned Nwoko to identify with the Police in providing tools to compliment government efforts in combating crime in Abuja.

The first phase of the project will include installation of CCTV cameras across 28 locations which would be monitored from the control room at the force headquarters.

Yesterday Tuesday 16th July, a sad day in the history of delta north, the date the Supreme Court gave it’s verdict on the long drawn delta north senatorial battle between my political father and benefactor Prince Ned Nwoko and Peter Nwaoboshi, finally it was settled in favor of Peter but only just!

The decision of the court drawn majorly from the simple technical fact of filling out of time, yes the victory of the star prince at the end of the primary election was never disputed , the court has given it’s verdict but the reactions that followed has made it clear that this wasn’t the will of the Supreme Almighty, and neither was it what the people of delta north had hoped for!

Like the patriot he is, Ned Nwoko wasn’t swayed by emotions, calmly he accepted the court judgement and asked his followers to move on, to him the development of his people means more, he may have lost the battle to represent them at the Senate, but he certainly hasn’t lost his will to bring development to the region.

Unlike other politicians, Ned Nwoko is a brand, a brand so big it encompasses and affects so many facets of the every day life of our people, truthfully Ned doesn’t need the Senate to grow his brand, the Senate needed Ned more, Ned only needed the Senate as an opportunity to serve his people , honestly speaking Ned didn’t lose the case, Delta North did!

The battle may have dragged on for months, still the Star Prince remains unshaken , with the forces he had to contend with from the very beginning of the senatorial race, it’s crystal clear that indeed Ned is a Warrior, for only a man filled with supernatural strength and abilities could have fought the way he fought, his opponent though victorious at the court, he is battle weary already, with the scars he took likely to stick for a lifetime!

With all Prince Ned Nwoko has done for delta northerners, with how well he proved eager to be of service to his people , there is no doubt his place in the history of delta north as a legend is sealed forever , from one generation to the next, tales of the legend of Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, the man who stood to be counted when others ran will be passed from fathers to sons and from mothers to daughters!

The senatorial race may have ended but delta northerners and Nigerians in general holds the Prince in the highest regards , to many he remains their Senator, and in him they believe the pathway to the future will be ushered!

Patriotism In Action: Prince Ned Nwoko Funds Repair of Failed South East-Abuja Link Road

Former member of Federal House of Representative, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko has displayed uncommon act of patriotism as he undertakes to deploy his personal funds (100 MILLION NAIRA) to rehabilitate failed portions of the road linking South East and Abuja through Onicha Ugbo/Idumuje Ugboko and Ewohinmi in Edo State.
Ned Nwoko said the agony faced by travellers from the eastern Nigeria to the northern part of the country, moved him to repair the road to alleviate the sufferings of those plying the road.

The road has become a vital short cut for travellers from the South East to the North, including Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory Abuja, but failed after heavy rain falls in recent months.

The single lane road originally constructed by Niger Delta Development Company (NNDC) had become a major transit for travellers from South East and the North thus increasing the economic activities for the towns along its path namely, Onicha Ugbo- Idumuje ugboko- Ewohinmi.

The failed sections of the road exposed commuters to travel delays and other untold hardships, including attacks by hoodlums operating on the Onicha-Ugbo- Idumuje Ugboko axis.

Prince Ned Nwoko said: “I am funding the repairs of the road in my private capacity, to lessen the impact of the suffering of travellers caused by the terrible condition of the road” “This is just a palliative effort, but I will continue even in my personal capacity, to push the Federal Government to urgently undertake a total reconstruction of the road”, he pledged.

The rehabilitation work is expected to be completed in six weeks.
Many commuters have been stranded on other failed portions of other roads linking Abuja and the Southern part of the country, including the failed portion of Oke-Oka axis of Akangba-Owo road in Ondo State.

The founder and Chancellor of the proposed STARS University (Sports, Technology, Arts and Research Science University), Idumuje Ugboko, Delta State. Hon. Dr. Prince Ned Nwoko, Saturday, 27th April, 2019, hinted that the university will partner with the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, FUPRE, to provide quality university education with requisite knowledge to drive development and economy of the country to accelerated level. The international legal luminary and senator elect for Delta north, dropped the hint while addressing the university community on the occasion of the award of honorary doctor of science degree to him by the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun. On this vexed national issue, the visionary Prince shared the opinion that academic and research collaborations are very valuable tool that not only accelerates the progress, economic growth and development of a country, but also enhances the quality of education offered by the institutions to the citizens of the country.

His words, “academic collaboration is beneficial to universities in learning new teaching tools, exchange of ideas, collaboration in research works and enthronement of a lasting sports culture within their various campuses and the country at large.” He further added, “all these add up, will increase the breadth and knowledge of students in learning different approaches to solving their individual problems and contributing their quoter towards meeting national challenges.

“This tool is being increasingly utilised with success in developed countries. Good examples where such partnerships are been implemented are the the Ivy League universities in the United States of America, the Oxbridge and the Golden Triangle universities in the United Kingdom, the C9 League universities in China, the Group of Eight universities in Australia, and the Imperial Universities in Japan. These universities have evolved strong culture through partnership in many areas which have helped to placed them top among the best universities in the world and also placed their countries at high pedestal in technological advancement, economic and sports development.” Prince Ned Nwoko, emphasized.

He went on to say, “under the prevailing conditions of paucity of funds in the Nigerian universities,  university authorities must have a well-planned partnership and collaborative approach in a manner that will enable them put available resources into maximum use.””Partnership and collaboration must be embraced, emphasised, encouraged and brought to a level where it can impact and improve the quality, resources and capabilities of Nigerian institutions to undertake research to find solutions to the numerous challenges facing the country.” He advised.

In conclusion, Prince Ned Nwoko said, “an academic culture that fosters partnerships and cooperation instead of individualism must be embraced to improve quality of education offers as well as accelerate progress and development of the country”.

The above quote, summarised the views of our visionary Prince on this burning national issue. That is why he is needed at the Senate, to give the Red Chamber sense of direction and initiate great ideas that will help the country out of her perennial socioeconomic predicaments.

Of course, this is not the first time the Prince of hospitality is staging such a grandiose dinner party at his compound. Recall that similar party was hosted Monday night of 11th February, 2018, for the victorious team Delta to the 5th National Youth Games, Uniilorin 2019 and the 19th National Sports Festival, Abuja 2018, where 20 of the athletes were awarded scholarships and a whooping sum of N20million given to the team by the generous Prince.

In the words of a visibly happy guest at the occasion, “look at what Ned is doing now, he is not even in government yet. I can’t imagine what he will do when the court finalised the senatorial case in his favour and finally restores his stolen mandate. “There is no doubt as to what he will do when he gets there, because as the saying goes “the people rejoice when the righteous are in power”. Anioma people will continue to rejoice when Prince Ned Nwoko is inaugurated as senator in the 9th Senate!
